Nature's Secret is VapourSeal's Secret
Our sealer comes from nature and was inspired by the sheep's natural wool protection system. When the wool fiber is sheared from the animal, the natural protection is no longer produced, subjecting it to faster deterioration (wear) and permanent staining. Our sealer was specifically and expressly designed in England many years ago to permanently replenish the natural protective agent that a sheep produces for its own coat.
In addition to wear and stain protection, it provides substantial sun fade resistance for the wool. We protect all fabrics. even silk blends and wool from stains and sun degradation, which is perfect for oriental rugs and other delicate fibers. Every day soil is naturally absorbs into the center of the wool fiber, hiding the dirt from the naked eye. Often consumers don’t realize their rug is dirty because they can’t see it. Unlike a common fabric protector that only “coats” the fiber and then breaks up easily, we penetrate the wool fiber to its inner cortex and protect it from the inside out. Not only from permanent stains and wear, but also from sun fade damage (nearly 100% on most fabrics according to 25 years of field and laboratory testing).
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY FABRIC PROTECTION
Our PERMANENT FABRIC PROTECTION is safe for you, your family, your pets, your belongings and the environment.
It is a unique multi- dimensional product, which resists stains, sun fade, wear, mold and mildew, and has good anti-static properties that will reduce smoke and flame spread in the event of a fire;
Our sealer application is made with Nanotechnology and will not change the texture or colour of what it is applied to;
It offers Permanent Stain Resistance in residential applications and is very long-lasting in commercial applications -and will survive many (7-10) professional cleanings, unlike other coater-type and name brand protectors;
The sealer offers significant Sun Fade Resistance on most fabrics.;
VapourSeal increases fabric life - up to 60% more resistance to wear and abrasion.;
This penetrator seals all fabrics and carpets - wool, cotton, silk, suede and smooth leather;
It penetrates and seals fibers only - it won't seal in dirt or stains;
It is non toxic and non allergenic - no fourochemicals or PTFE Resin (non-stick) ;
The product is independent laboratory tested - and proven worldwide in the aerospace industry.;
It is a fabric nano-penetrator and not a sealer that coats, like silicone;
This sealer is safe on all fabrics and is permanent. Apply it once and forget about it.
COMPARING OUR SEALER TO COMMON FIBER PROTECTORS
Penetrates the complete fiber and will survive many professional cleanings and normal wear. - Common fiber protectors do not penetrate fiber, and coats only where spray hits. Cleaning or normal wear easily fractures the fiber protection and you must pay for re-application.
Reduces sun fading by nearly 100% on most fabrics – this has been verified by independent laboratory testing.
- Most common fiber protectors have no protection against sun fading. If they make the claim, they should have independent laboratory verification.
Has been thoroughly tested by independent laboratories from around the world.
- Most common fiber protectors do not have independent laboratory tests.
Reduces smoke density in case of fire.
- Common fiber protectors have no protection. Most fiber protectors are highly toxic when they burn.
Reduces flame spread.
- No common fiber protectors claim that they reduce flame spread.
Is colorfast and has no effect on color or texture of treated fabrics.
- Common fiber protectors have been known to “yellow” light colored fabrics over time or when sprayed.
It is mildew and static electricity resistant.
- Common fiber protectors have no mildew and static electricity resistance.
Only attaches to fibers and will not seal in non-fibrous elements.
- Many common fiber protectors will seal both fibrous and non-fibrous particles. Therefore, dirty fabrics treated with these chemicals will have dirt and stains sealed in at time of treatment.
Does not damage woodwork, metal paint or glass. It is safe and easy to use on most materials.
- Common fiber protectors will spot woodwork, metal and glass which can cause problems if not removed quickly.
Can be used on any material with a fibrous nature including suede and smooth-finished leathers.
- Common fiber protectors cannot be used on some types of fabrics, such as suede or smooth- finished leathers.
It is non-toxic and non-allergenic protector, with a carrier that has an EPA rating of GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe).
- For most other common fiber protectors, EPA test reports have cited health and environmental concerns with fiber protectors that use flurochemicals and PTFE Resins. 95% of fabric protectors are either fluorochemical or co-polymer / polymer (plastic) based.
